I’m back!
Everything feels so incredibly weird right now. First of all, I’ve been awake for over 36 hours because nobody went to sleep last night. We played water polo from like 2:30-4 AM in the morning and it was wicked intense man. Then we just stayed up the rest of the night before leaving around 6:30 AM to drive to the San Juan airport. It was completely sad to leave, although some people were crying and I wasn’t anywhere near that stage. It’s just so weird that after spending sooo much time with this group of 18 people for four weeks straight, suddenly all of my good friends are off in Alabama and California and Missouri….and here I am in Boston. Right now I feel like I was in Puerto Rico for years or something. Sometimes I got really homesick knowing that I was so far from my family and friends, but now I’m like opposite homesick. Plus, the other thing that’s weird is that during the trip we were staying in a little bunk room, then in tents in the rainforest, and for the two week homestay I was in a pretty tiny house. And so being back here is just like way too big. And finally I feel like it ended too quickly because I hadn’t even learned much Spanish yet, and there were some people that I was still getting to know. And also I really wanted to buy presents for you people but there was never a time!!!! Aargh I need to go back for another few nights. But anyway….those are my thoughts on Puerto Rico. I have pictures and stuff if you want to know more. So right now, aside from being sad I REALLY WANT TO SEE EVERYBODY!!!!! I missed people so much!!! But tonight I don’t think I can do anything but die on the couch, so I’ll call you tomorrow! Hasta luego!

CHRISTINE!!!!!!!! You’re back!!!!!!! We are definitely getting together tonight or something! I have soooooo much to talk to you about (as mentioned in my last comment), and I need to see you. I also need to hear more about your trip! Anyway, I am about to go out right now, but I will definitely call you sometime today, like, in a few hours or something. Yay!

WELCOME BACK STINE! I can understand why you would miss it, that must’ve been really cool and different from stupid america. I’m glad you had fun. I STILL have to give you your birthday present, and I got you the most awesome card EVER 😎 it was a contest between 4, but I followed my heart and chose the right one. I will see you soon!!! At tessa’s party I hope, yaaaaaay and yes tell us all about el pais.

I’ve seen you to christine. Now you’re old news again. Just kidding. I never really like fried chicken in the first place but now i don’t know if i’ll ever eat it again. Is antoine willing to have an e-mail correspondance with me to teach me french (i’m sure i can teach him some english too…) SIDE NOTE: I wrote “to” instead of “too” the first time, so he probably doesn’t want to learn english from me.

Ok Adam, I’ll ask Antoine if you explain the fried chicken comment to me. I thought about it for a really long time and for the life of me I can’t remember having any conversation about fried chicken with you. So was that just a random outburst out of nowhere? Hola to everybody else!!! Katie, I definitely want to go running but I must warn you that I suck. I tried for a nice, good ol’ 4-miler today and let’s just say it was a complete disaster. I don’t know WHAT happened to me in Puerto Rico but I swear it’s as if I’ve never gone running in my life!! Oh yes and I hear that you are now a proud Stop and Shop employee, congratulations! I bet the manager is nicer than that jerk from WEX. Yay Al, I’m really excited about the card!! I can’t wait to actually see you this summer since last summer we never got together! As for you Tessellation….I still feel like I need to hear more about the things you had to tell me, because they feel sort of unreal or something (especially one of them). But also very exciting!!! Caitlin I need to see you for longer than 20 minutes sometime soon because last night was basically nothing! So don’t go running off to the Cape young lady. And to Kelvin I say hello and I hope your summer has been going well!

hahaha stine ive only been running a measely one time and it was when i couldn’t breathe because i was so sick, and i was in maine and got chased to the death by DEER FLIES and bees! it was deadly.haha yes, your mom came to my totally awesome checkout line at stop and shop!
